Within the scope of the fight against coronavirus (covid-19), the Ministry of Health made arrangements for 2020 appointment decisions and transportation and accommodation of health workers.
The Ministry has implemented some decisions in order to carry out the fight against the covid-19 epidemic, which is accepted as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), to be carried out uninterruptedly, effectively and with sufficient number of personnel.
Change in 2020 assignment numbers
Upon the application of the Ministry of Health, a change was made in the Presidential Decree on the quotas for returning to the public after open resignation.
According to this new regulation, the Ministry will be within the scope of the exception in terms of appointments to the Health and Allied Health Services Class.
Thus, after the resignation of the staff in the Health and Auxiliary Health Services Class, which could not be made for 3-4 years, the way for the open appointment draw will be opened.
Free transportation and accommodation for healthcare workers
Within the scope of the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic disease, some arrangements were made regarding the transportation and accommodation of health workers with the President's decision dated March 24, 2020.
With the decision taken, the personnel working in all health institutions and organizations belonging to the public and private sector providing health services; Provided that a decision is made by the relevant municipality, they will be able to benefit from the public transportation services, Başkentray, Marmaray and Izban services free of charge, provided by the municipalities and their affiliates and their unions, establishments, businesses and companies.
In addition, healthcare workers will be able to stay free of charge in the public social facilities (guesthouses) closest to the healthcare facility where they work.
Regulation on permanent employee recruitment by direct lottery
In line with the request of the Ministry of Health, with the Presidential Decision dated March 19, 2020, the "Regulation on the Procedures and Principles to be Applied in the Recruitment of Workers in Public Institutions and Organizations" was amended.
In this context, the permanent staff to be recruited to the Ministry will be appointed by drawing lots, only for the year 2020.
