You can forward all kinds of applications and complaints regarding the violation of patient rights to the Patient Communication Unit established in our hospital. You can also apply to the ALO 184 Sabim Hotline and the internet at www.saglik.gov.tr.



Anyone who applies to a health institution to receive health care;
1.Using the service in general:
Within the framework of the principles of justice and equity, they have the right to benefit from activities aimed at promoting a healthy life and preventive health services.
2. Access to service in equality:
He has the right to receive service regardless of race, language, religion and sect, political thought, philosophical belief, economic and social status.
3. Information:
He has the right to learn about all kinds of services and opportunities.
4. Selecting and changing the organization:
He has the right to choose and change the health board and to benefit from the health services provided by the health institution he chooses.
5. Recognition, selection and replacement of personnel:
Physicians and other personnel who will provide or provide health services have the right to learn, choose and change their identities, duties and titles.
6. Requesting information:
He has the right to request all kinds of information about his health status, verbally and in writing.
7. Privacy:
He has the right to receive all kinds of health services in an environment that is suitable for confidentiality.
8. Consent and permission:
He has the right to obtain consent in medical interventions and to benefit from the service within the framework of consent.
9. Rejection and suspension:
He has the right to refuse treatment and to ask for it to be stopped.
10. Security:
He has the right to receive health care in a safe environment.
11. Fulfilling one's religious duties:
The organization has the right to fulfill its religious obligations within the limits of its possibilities and within the framework of the measures taken by the administration.
12. To be respected:
They have the right to receive friendly, courteous and compassionate health care with respect, care and attention.
13. Comfort:
He has the right to receive health services in an environment where all kinds of hygienic conditions are provided and all noisy and disturbing factors are eliminated.
14.Visit:
It has the right to accept visitors in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by institutions and organizations.
15. Keeping a companion:
Legislation, health institutions and organizations have the right to request to have a companion within the limits of their possibilities and if the physician deems it appropriate.
16. Right of application, complaint and lawsuit:
In case of violation of his rights, he has the right to use all kinds of applications, complaints and lawsuits within the framework of the legislation.
17. Continuous service:
As long as necessary, he has the right to benefit from health services.


WHAT ARE PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES?

1. General Responsibilities

People should do their best to take care of their own health and follow the advice given for a healthy life.

The person can donate blood or donate organs, if appropriate.

In simple cases, people should take care of themselves

2. Social Security Status

Patient; It is obliged to notify changes in health, social security and personal information in a timely manner.

Patient; health card (Bag-Kur, Green Card, etc.) has to get the visa on time.

3. Informing Healthcare Professionals

Patient; their complaints,

previous illnesses,

whether he received any inpatient treatment,

current medications, if any,

should give full and complete information about all health.

4. Compliance with Hospital Rules

Patient; should comply with the rules and practices of the health institution to which they apply.

The patient must comply with the referral chain determined by the Ministry of Health and other social security institutions.

Patient; should cooperate with health professionals during the treatment, care and rehabilitation process.

Patient; if he/she benefits from a health facility that provides services by appointment; must comply with the date and time of the appointment and notify the relevant place of changes.

Patient; respect the rights of hospital staff, other patients and visitors.

Patient; have to pay for the damage caused to the hospital equipment.

5. Compliance with Recommendations Regarding Treatment

Patient; He should listen carefully to the advice about treatment and drugs and ask about the places he does not understand.

Patient; In case of inability to comply with the recommendations regarding the treatment, the health worker should be informed.

Patient; He/she should indicate whether he/she understands the health care and post-discharge care plan correctly as expected.

Patient; He should know that he is responsible for the consequences that may arise due to refusing the treatment to be applied or not complying with the recommendations.
